This is another graceful woodland grass. The heads are longer than Bromopsis ramosa and there are no auricles

The term “Barren” refers to its agricultural production and not its reproduction.
Bromus hordeaceus - Soft-brome
This is a distinctive grass and is soft, the leaves are soft and the lower sheaths hairy.
