Callitriche species - Water Star-wort

This is a difficult group of flowers to identify beyond genus level. It is important have to look at floating, submerged and aerial (if any) leaves. The shape and ends of the leaves are significant as is the colour of the aerial leaves. The shape of the fruits and colour of any pollen are often required to confirm the identity.
